Emir Khalilzadeh
Emir is a feature film, commercials, TV series, corporate films, and music videos director. His father is Iranian and his mother is Turkish and was born in Izmir, Turkey. He can speak Turkish, Persian (Farsi), Azerbaijani and English.
He graduated from Radio TV-Cinema Department of Istanbul University and he started his career with music videos, he directed about 200 music videos. He then followed up directing of commercials, feature films, and TV series. He has received many national and international awards for his script and corporate films including NEW-YORK AURORA AWARDS and TELLY AWARDS.
In 2016-2018 he directed three different television series. The popular series “Black and White Love” “Siyah-Beyaz Ask” already broadcasted in about 30 countries.
He directed five feature films between 2016-2018. Among them, he has written and directed “A Splendid Movie” “Muthis Bir Film” and “Ex-Girlfriend“ “Eski Sevgili”. In the summer of 2018, he completed the fifth feature film in the Albanian capital, Tirana, with Albanian cast in a completely foreign language and proved himself as a worldwide filmmaker.
