Abhay Sinha, a leading figure in the Indian entertainment industry, is the founder and Managing Director of Yashi Films Pvt Ltd. Based in Mumbai, with offices across India, Sinha has produced over 150 movies across multiple languages, including Hindi, Bhojpuri, Bengali, Punjabi, and more. He has also distributed over 100 Hindi films, making him a key player in the growth of Indian cinema.

In addition to his work in films, Sinha has been an active producer in the television industry, having produced over 100 shows and more than 5,000 episodes for major TV networks across India. His contributions extend to organizing numerous government events, further showcasing his versatile presence in the media landscape.

Sinha is also the visionary behind the International Bhojpuri Film Awards (IBFA), which has promoted Bhojpuri cinema to international audiences. His dedication to developing a sustainable and successful industry has earned him numerous accolades over the years.

After serving as the Vice President of the Indian Motion Picture Producers Association (IMPPA) for 11 years, Sinha was elected as the President in 2022. Under his leadership, IMPPA has made great strides, becoming the first Indian film organization to have an official stall at the Cannes Film Festival in 2024.

It showcases Indian films every year under the title of "IMPPA at International Festivals". Furthermore, IMPPA became a full member of the International Federation of Film Producers Associations (FIAPF) in 2024, establishing it as India's official representative in global film affairs, and Abhay Sinha also became the Vice President of FIAPF during the Cannes Film Festival on 17 May 2025.
